Marker

Wow, today marks our 26th Wedding Anniversary! I thank God for my husband every day. He had to make him extra special to put up with me this long! If you've seen the movie "Fireproof", which I haven't yet - but I intend to - I got myself the book called "The Love Dare" which is like a 40 day challenge to appreciating your spouse and improving your marriage. I'm still on page 1 because I'm finding that I'm not as patient as I thought I was. Hmmm. Anyway, it looks interesting and I challenge any married person out there reading this to give it try. So if it works, you have a richer relationship with your spouse, and if it doesn't - well, you'll have the same old thing. It may take me 40 years at this rate, but it'll still be fun.

Homeowners

The last of our children are homeowners! Nick and Sara put in an offer on a house and it was accepted tonight. So they will get a taste of being a homeowner. They should close by 4/30 so May will be filled with fixing the house and moving in. The house is as old as me so needs a face lift too :) Anyway, it will be fun. They are very excited.

Updates

Just to keep everyone in the loop....
Last Friday, Nick's Grandpa had a heart attack. He's doing better and went home on Sunday. He's the jogger, golfer and very active. So you just never know.
Sara's gotten another sinus type cold. She went to the doctor today. She may have mono. Eeek.
Rick went for a job interview today. He felt good about how he did. We'll see what happens.
Michelle interviewed for the PhD program at Oregon State University. She felt like it went well.
I'm keeping very busy. Am looking forward to a bit slower pace in a few weeks.
Suji, our friend who's been staying with us found a rental right around the corner, so she'll be moving out.
All is well here. We miss you all!
