What a Week!

Wow, the festivities this week kept us busy and we were so excited to see our family and friends in Salt Lake. How touching it was to have those you love in one place.

Relay Race

Here's a few pictures from Jeff's relay race last night. A few of Jeff, one of his friend Mike, and a few other funny ones. I think Rick has a pair of those pants that the clown is wearing!

Special Dates/Times

This weekend, Jeff is running in a relay race from Logan to Park City as part of a 12 person team. His friends, Mike and Chowie and her work - L3 Communications will participate. Its 170 miles over a 24 hour period. They run up the canyon - feel the pain. Each runner runs about 17 miles each in different intervals! He started this morning and they finish tomorrow. Rick's going to leave shortly to cheer him on!

Today is Aadam and Michele's 16th year Wedding Anniversary!!! Whoo Hoo!!!!! It seems like yesterday we were in Denver for this occasion.

Birthdays - Danny, Alyssa and Hannah!!!!! Happy Birthday to YOU ! SMACK!
It would have also been my brother Ray's 53rd Birthday next week. He wanted so bad to be 50! I want so bad not to be 50 (in 10 years of course :) Life and death present such differing perspectives.

Eight Days to go!

With just eight days remaining, we've decided we could either get really stressed on the million and three last minute issues or just enjoy the ride. We've decided on the latter. At this point, if we haven't done it, it won't get done and hopefully you all won't miss it. Rick and I have been reiminicing that our families haven't been together in 25 years to this magnitude. We know next weekend will fly right by and we hope to catch as many memories as we can because life is precious and so is time. So we'll do our best to be little sponges and soak up and relish the moments we have with our family and friends. We so appreciate each of you for making this trek to Utah! We'll be praying for safe travels, easy travels, clear roads and skies and all the mercies we could have!

18 Days to the Wedding!!!!!

Yikes! All the little details are coming up and being dealt with. Sara's doing good overall, except for the new ulcer she thinks she has. She hit a parked car on Saturday (just misjudged the distance), Nick tore his rotator cuff in his shoulder and can't move his arm, but overall they're handling everything well, besides an occasional meltdown, which is expected at this point.
We had a nice day yesterday - temperatures were finally up to normal (about 80 degrees) but they'll be back to 60 tomorrow. The weather people are projecting no snow or rain for the next two weeks so we should be good to go.

We're looking forward to seeing everyone in just a couple of weeks!
